Nordstrom Half Yearly is HERE!

Who’s ready for that 3 day weekend? I know I am, and I hope to spend at least one day relaxing pool-side with a cold drink in my hand (ahh bliss)! Now through the end of May is also the best time to stock up on some of those summer essentials, because guess what….Nordstrom Half Yearly is HERE!! Feels like Christmas shopping in May.

Below I’ve rounded up some of my favorites. Get summer ready with dresses, espadrilles, and some nifty wedges/sandals. I wish I could buy all of them, but I have to pay rent so that’s not an option. Most items are under $100 however, gotta keep it budget friendly for you all!

Tank tops and Olvera St.

Happy Monday, folks! I have to say, I cried a little deep inside when I realized the weekend was so quickly over. Luckily I did a ton of sleeping in and eating (sounds like most of my weekends, ha). Sleeping in for me lately has been up until about 8:30am, and has anyone noticed how much worse your body feels if you actually get the chance to sleep in? Who needs sleep, ya sleep when you’re dead, right?

On Sunday B (my lovely boyfriend/photographer in training) and I went down to Olvera Street in Los Angeles to explore. I’ve committed us to checking out all that LA and its surrounding areas have to offer this summer, so I thought we’d take a stroll down to the oldest part of downtown LA. Olvera Street not only provides a learning opportunity with all of the free Museums in the area, but it also has the BEST Mexican marketplace and restaurants (Think tasty authentic street tacos and churros).

I enjoyed the museum dedicated to Mexican-American heritage, and upon walking in they had a great quote which I’m sharing with you all above. Always good to remember where we came from, and what we have achieved thus far.

Now…onto the outfit details. I bought this AMAZING Free People tank top on sale in the pale pink color above, but I am going back to pick it up in black and white. It is so comfortable, and also very flattering. If you follow me on Instagram (Follow Here) then you also know that I’ve been living in these white jeans from Paige Denim. I am all about COMFORTABLE, can’t say it enough. If you can dress up and be comfortable at the same time, consider it a winner!

Hope you all have a great week ahead!

My first REAL outfit post (yipee)! I bought this jumpsuit sometime last month and never quite wore it. As it sat in my closet with tags still attached, I decided to dedicate it to my first outfit post. I have terrible luck finding any type of jumpsuit that fits and doesn’t climb up my behind (my torso is longer than my legs are), but this baby was perfect! I love the print on it, it is SO comfortable, and the pattern lines along the sides elongate my body (a little optical illusion never hurts).

I most definitely plan to reincorporate this jumpsuit into a more casual outfit by throwing a jean jacket on and changing my wedges to flat sandals, or a blazer and heels to dress it up.

BaubleBar Sale

Hola Chicas! It is the LAST DAY to shop Bauble Bar’s 30% off sale for Cinco De Mayo. Use code Fiesta30. I have compiled my favorites for you above!

I am still very much on a gold kick, I typically prefer gold plated items over silver. Also absolutely loving a touch of turquoise for summer!

Has anyone tried the ear cuff trend yet? I am tempted! I’ve included a cool but understated ear cuff above as well. Typically I tend to stick to 4-5 of my favorite jewelry pieces and I wear the heck out of them, that is one thing I am trying to get better at with this blog, ACCESSORIZING! Happy Sale days!
